LAC Shuttle Account & Data Deletion

How to permanently delete your account and associated personal information

You may request permanent deletion of your LAC Shuttle account and the personal information associated with it.

Account deletion permanently removes access to the account. Temporary deactivation, logout, or uninstalling the application does not delete the account.

Option 1: Delete Your Account Inside the App

In the LAC Shuttle app, navigate to:

[Profile or Menu] → [Account Settings] → [Delete Account]

Follow the instructions displayed to confirm your request.

Option 2: Request Deletion Outside the App

You may also submit an account-deletion request by email:

Your request should include enough information for us to identify and verify the account, such as:

  • The email address or phone number associated with your account;
  • Your full name as registered in the app; and
  • A brief statement that you wish to permanently delete your LAC Shuttle account and associated data.

For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before completing the deletion.

What Gets Deleted

When your deletion request is completed, information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized, including account profile information and associated personal data, unless retention is required for legitimate purposes described below.

What May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal compliance;
  • Security and fraud prevention;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Accounting or financial recordkeeping; or
  • Other legitimate purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Information retained for these limited purposes will not be used for unrelated activities.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backup systems until those backups are overwritten in accordance with our normal backup schedule.

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Residual encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days.
